Danny made a move to Iowa to open his own COUNTRY Financial insurance agency. Previously, he worked as a senior agency sales recruiter for COUNTRY Financial in Normal. Prior to this, he was an education specialist for the Illinois Farm Bureau’s Ag in the Classroom program. He stays busy outside the office as a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters and spending time with his "little brother" John.

During his time at Illinois State, Danny could be seen playing various intramural sports and serving as a part of the leadership team for Business Week. He also attended the University of Hawaii for a semester as a part of the national student exchange program.

He currently sits on the Alumni Association board of directors' scholarship and executive committees.
